Plasters



 

The Eurosirel plasters are medical devices for the first aid medication of wounds and scrapes.

They are:

 

  • dermatologically tested
  • hypoallergenic
  • protective
  • coated with a new technological adhesive

 

The plaster may have various supports and gauze swabs according to need and the type of skin. They are sold in the following formats.

 

 

Cotton support :: Cotton is the material of which the plaster is made. It is the traditional material par excellence and may be elastic or non-elastic depending on the use of the plaster. It is the pink, natural-looking support.

Gauze net :: Gauze net helps to protect the wound against external agents, giving the plaster a defending effect.

PE Support :: Polyethylene or polythene is the material used to make a traditional plaster par excellence. It is soft, elastic and microperforated to allow the skin to breathe. It may be skin-coloured, transparent and of another colour.

Anti-septic gauze :: Anti-septic gauze controls the microenvironment of the wound, giving the plaster a protective effect..

PU Support :: Polyurethane is the material of which the support of the plaster is made. It is innovative and ensures a high performance: it’s waterproof, very elastic and adaptable to the part of the body to which it is applied. It is available in two thicknesses according to its use, classical for a traditional plaster or ultrathin for an “invisible” medication. It is transparent but may also be skin-coloured.

Haemostatic gauze :: Haemostatic gauze protects the wound and absorbs the blood coagulating in contact with it without interfering with the wound’s natural healing process. Haemostatic gauze gives the plaster a plugging effect.

NWF Support :: Non-Woven Fabric is the material of which the support of the plaster is made. It is light, gentle and transpiring. It is indicated for sensitive skin and may be produced in a white or skin colour...

Aluminium foil gauze :: Aluminium foil gauze protects mild burns and scrapes against external agents. It does not stick to the wound and absorbs any exudates present. Aluminium foil gauze gives the plaster a protective, anti-stick effect.

FOAM Support :: Polyethylene foam is the film of which the plaster is made. Innovative material; with a thick cross section and a soft consistency, FOAM makes the plaster particularly suitable for protecting the wound against accidental knocks and rubbing. It is particularly water resistant. It may be produced in a skin colour.

Silver foil gauze :: Silver foil gauze protects the wound by reducing the risk of infection and absorbing any exudates present, with little adhesion to the wounded part. The silver foil gauze gives the plaster  an antiseptic effect, reducing the risk of infection.
