Silver foil gauze
Silver foil gauze protects the wound by reducing the risk of infection and absorbing any exudates present, with low adhesion to the wound. Silver foil gauze gives the plaster an antiseptic effect, reducing the risk of infection.
Cotton is the material of which the support of the plaster is made. It is the traditional material par excellence and may be elastic or non-elastic depending on the use of the plaster. It is the pink, “natural” looking support.
Net gauze helps to protect the wound against external agents, thus giving the plaster a “defending” effect.
Antiseptic gauze controls the microenvironment of the wound, thus giving the plaster a “protective” effect.
Aluminium foil gauze protects mild burns and scrapes against external agents. It does not adhere to the wound and absorbs any exudates present. Aluminium foil gauze gives the plaster a protective, anti-stick effect.
