First aid for muscle cramps
Sport is a “rational” activity, in other words, it is made up of phases that must be followed to allow one’s body and muscles to prepare gradually for it.
You must:
- wear the right clothing
- wear the right shoes
- get warmed up, using toning and warming oils, where appropriate
If you feel sudden pain with no apparent reason and you cannot move a particular muscle, which seems contracted, then you’ve got muscle CRAMP.
A cramp is an involuntary, painful muscle contraction accompanied by the inability to perform movements.
It may have many causes:
- sudden movements made without warming up properly
