Our trusted friend, the condom

Sex is a pleasure that comes from intimate complicity between partners.

The condom is an EC medical device and should be used during sexual intercourse to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

The condom is effective if its instructions for use are followed carefully.

Its function is to create an imperceptible barrier that is sufficient to eliminate the risk of spreading sexually transmitted diseases yet thin enough to allow the couple to enjoy their sex to the full.

The condom is therefore an instrument for safe pleasure.

Over the past decades, the use of condoms has spread widely and has won a place in the sex culture of all developed populations, but this concept must continue to be spread, above all among the young as it is easier to prevent a disease than to cure it.

It is important to know that the use of drugs, alcohol and psychoactive substances undermine the safety of sex in that, in these cases, the condom is often not used.

In fact, these substances tend to cause rash behaviour and less inhibition.

The risk is you lose control and “forget” or simply do not use the condom.

Is an extra drink worth the risk?
